Private Retreats... or Mother-Daughter Retreats
One-on-one private retreat is held in our home, fondly referred to as Happy House by previous owners. Very similar environment as a Bed & Breakfast. Cozy and comfortable!
A 100 year old Florida cracker house, which we have remodeled some. We are located in the Northwest Florida panhandle in Ponce de Leon, Florida.
Ponce de Leon is a small town of 500 residents, very rural in nature and peaceful. Quiet other than the nostalgia sound of train whistles flying by. Relaxed country environment.
We have recently bought another 100 year old Florida cracker house directly across the street from Happy House. We are completely restoring that house for our Heart to Heart guests. It is not ready for
use yet, but coming along nicely - see photos

Happy House is on a one acre lot, surrounded on both sides and back with bushes. Very private. Lots of large trees and flowers depending on time of year. Butterflies, hummingbirds and many types of
birds come to our yard. Hot tub/back screened in porch, watch the birds. Ponce de Leon, Florida is located in the upper panhandle, just off I-10. One hour north of Seaside,
Florida. We are also only one hour away from either Destin or Panama City. Seaside was the film location of the movie Truman Story. During retreats, weather permitting we go to Seaside to enjoy the
architecture, fun shopping, art galleries, and great little cafes. Plus the beach! Photo Album- Seaside There are several large natural springs right here in Ponce de Leon. Ponce de Leon State Park
just a
mile away. A WPA park with natural stonework enclosing the spring, making a wonderful clear pool of water enticing locals & visitors to jump in. Fresh, clear sparkling water. International Scuba Divers
come to this little town to scuba dive the caves underground where the springs originate. There are several springs here. One of which is Morrison Springs. The springs here are truly beautiful, and loved by many folks.
